About This Car

- Quick Specs -

The new Lamborghini Aventador is more than just a new supercar, it’s Lamborghini’s new flagship model and replacement for the famous Murcielago. With all the hype surrounding it since its official unveiling at 2011’s Sant’Agata Bolognese, the Aventador has been on the front of the everyone’s mind and has definitely stolen a spot on many desktop wallpapers.

Weight and aerodynamics play a big role in the design, with the Aventador being lighter than its predecessor the Murcielago and reposition of cool air intake to the rear side panels. Keeping in
line with other top supercars the Aventador boasts a 0-60 mph speed of 2.9 seconds.

The 2012 model comes with a 6.5 liter V12 engine, AWD, and has 700 HP. Also keeping in line with other supercars the 2012 Aventador will cost you around $380,000, but even at that price tag the
2012 model has been officially sold out for the remainder of the year.

Design of the Aventador is undoubtedly in line with Lamborghini's philosophy, but it's also unique enough to look fresh and innovative. The angular design manages to look cutting edge while not seeming to be stuck in the concept-car phase. The interior, which feels like it
took many design cues from a fighter jet, is very similar to what you would find in an Audi.

So if you’re comfortable with Audi’s interior system then you should feel right at home inside an Aventador. So what makes the Aventador special? There’s really no exact area that makes the Aventador so popular. It’s powerful, lightweight, fast, meticulously engineered, and most important of all sports a stunning design that will keep it on the top of any enthusiast’s list of favorite supercars
for a long time to come.
