2011 Lamborghini Ankonian Concept by Slavche Tanevski

The 2011 Lamborghini Ankonian Concept by Slavche Tanevski is considered the most aggressive looking Lamborghini to date. And it may be for generations to come.

Exterior

Tanevski eschewed the use of wild graphics on the 2011 Lamborghini Ankonian Concept he created. Instead he adopted a soft-design approach to the complexity of the exterior. It has an air of Italian elegance to it while being enveloped in what could best be described as shields over both the front and the rear. It almost suggests a stealth bomber.

Frankly, upon first glance one could think this design is somewhat insane. But it evolves upon further study. The lines of the 2011 Lamborghini Ankonian Concept by Slavche Tanevski come together in a meaningful intersection of both concave and convex areas that suggests a strength of body and a dynamic design.

Tanevski has taken his concept and lowered it to the limits allowed for onroad vehicles. The rear end is lifted in contrast. It has the effect of given the car a forward favored appearance when viewed from the side. It’s like looking at a hot road with an Italian flare.

A unique exterior design flair is the absence of apparent headlights. LEDs are hidden between the hood panels. In the rear they are incorporated above the exhausts for an almost demonic appearance.

Interior

The 2011 Lamborghini Ankonian Concept by Slavche Tanevski is based on the Lamborghini Reventón. No interior design cues were detailed for this car, which was all about its exterior.

Performance

As Tanevski said in an interview here at BoldRide, http://news.boldride.com/2012/02/brilliant-mind-behind-lamborghini-ankonian/ “The concept was all about looks. It’s a show-off concept; a swag thing. As car designers, we are not asked about the car’s performance, we just make the car look good and function properly in every aspect but the technical part – the engine, the transmission, etc. But I can imagine the car having a V10 engine with top-notch supercar specs.”
