The engine is mated to an e-gear, six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. It also has permanent all-wheel drive with viscous traction.
Lambo developed an extremely lightweight exhaust system for the Super Trofeo. All four camshafts feature variable adjustment. That permits valve control times along a wide spectrum. The variable adjustment also delivers improved charge characteristics among the rev range. The engine also features dry sump lubrication for a lower center of gravity and the ability to feed oil to the engine even during the hardest lateral accelerations.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo has a double wishbone suspension. Pirelli, Lamborghini’s exclusive tire provider, supplied the racing tires. The car also features a racing anti-lock braking system.
