There are only a handful of 1961 fuel injected competition-oriented Corvettes ordered new with the 315 bhp RPO 582 fuel-injected 283 V-8 and the RPO 687 heavy-duty brake and suspension option.

This car was auctioned off by RM Auctions in August of 2011 at the Portola Hotel & Spa and Monterey Conference Center, Monterey, California.
