About This Car

- Quick Specs -

There were only 3,900 1959 Austin Healey 100-6 BN6 two-seaters originally built. According to Healey marque experts, the 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6 BN6 Sports Roadster is the most sought-after model by collectors today with the highly desirable combination of its easily tuned SU H6 carburetors, six-cylinder power and the classic elegance of the earlier 100-4 two-seater body configuration.

This car was auctioned off by RM Auctions in January of 2012 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, Phoenix, Arizona.

130 hp, 2,912 cc OHV inline six-cylinder engine, twin SU H6 carburetors, four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive, independent front suspension with double wishbones, coil springs and anti-roll bar, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs and Panhard rod, and hydraulic front disc, rear drum brakes. Wheelbase: 92".
