The remarkable thing about the Model A Ford is not its popularity when new – it bested Chevrolet over the period by less than 25 percent. Rather, it’s the rate at which it has survived and maintained its popularity. Until postwar cars took over the collector market, the Model A Ford was the perennial favorite among restorers, collectors and enthusiasts.
