About This Car

- Quick Specs -

Available in two series, the inexpensive and reliable Chevrolet was becoming an increasingly popular alternative to the Ford Model T during the early 1920's.

Buyers could choose a color other than black (the only factory-available Ford color) and the overhead valve 4-cylinder engine, conventional transmission, and standard self starter made the car easier to operate.

Although over 250,000 Chevrolets were produced in North America for the 1922 model year, few survive because they are less well remembered than the ubiquitous Ford Model T.
